IWA invests in Young Water Professionals, by empowering them within the association and the water sector. Young members will be able to build their career in this network, by connecting and contributing (work with peers internationally) to the water sector, and through this build their network, develop professionally, and gain profile.

Who are we?
IWA Young Water Professionals are dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate IWA members aged 35 or below who wish to develop their career, build their network, and engage in the International water community to contribute to IWA's vision of a world in which water is wisely, sustainably and equitably managed.
The community includes members from 100+ countries, covering a borad range of disciplines from academia, policy, consultancies and industry. Everyone interested in any aspect of water management of related professions is welcome and encouraged to join.

IWA Young Water Professionals Conferences
The IWA Young Water Professionals Conference provides unique networking opportunities by bringing together people from water-related research, industry and policy making backgrounds who all share a common interest in sustainable water use (policy). Besides the transfer of scientific research knowledge, the conference aims to be the place for all PhDs, post-docs, professors and professionals under 35 to interact and to create lasting bridges in the water sector. Furthermore, several keynote speakers from industry will be invited to discuss job opportunities and social and creative sessions will be organised to make the experience fun and rewarding.
